Field Production Equipment

The first step is to fill out a Production Contract for the project you want to start. This tells BCTV staff what productions are in progress and helps us determine what equipment you might need.

Check the Equipment List to see what field production equipment BCTV has available to producers.

The next step is to reserve equipment by submitting an Equipment Reservation Request,  or by calling the office.

Blank Media:  purchase mini-DV tapes or reserve one of BCTV’s compact flash cards so you have something to record on.

Arrive at BCTV on time to check out and review any settings or get more instructions before you set out. The equipment is expected to be returned the next day unless you get special permission.
