What do you want to do?
Produce your own program
Once you’ve become a member, and have been trained and certified, you’re ready to sign out equipment and create local programming.
Submit your own program
To submit a video (one that you produced), there are a few options:
1) Submit a DVD via mail or hand-delivery to BCTV with a completed Cablecast Request Form to: 230 Main Street, Suite 201, Brattleboro, VT 05301
2) Submit your video online
- Email the link (video URL) using Youtube, Vimeo, or Dropbox to firstname.lastname@example.org, along with a Cablecast Request Form. Please note that each of these online delivery methods require use of the producer's own account. Submit to BCTV in the highest resolution/quality possible for best results. Youtube URLs are subject to download availability. Vimeo videos must be set to 'Share by Download.' All rights to submitted videos must be held by the producer, or include express written permission from the copyright holder at the time of submittal.
Volunteer for a production
An easy way to gain production skills is to crew for BCTV productions or for another producer’s show. You can also sign up to cover an event that has been requested by a community member or nonprofit organization. Staff will assist you with equipment choice and planning.
Be a local sponsor for a program produced by someone else
If you have a program you'd like to sponsor for cablecast on either of BCTV's channels, review our Program Content Rules, fill out a Cablecast Request Form and deliver the program to BCTV via the methods outlined above.
Request a Volunteer Producer
Looking for someone to record your event? BCTV can facilitate this process. We always recommend finding a motivated volunteer from your organization who is willing to be trained as a producer. To request a volunteer producer, submit a Production Request at least two weeks prior to the event date.
