This video is a Palm Sunday worship service from First Congregational Church of West Brattleboro, United Church of Christ (UCC) in Vermont. The name of the sermon is "From Palms to Passion," which is based on the scripture passage recounting Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem found in Luke 19:29-40. The theme of the service is "Being followers of Jesus means that we follow Jesus all the way to the cross." In order to fully experience the joy of Easter, we need to experience the cross. In this service we will be going on a journey through Holy Week, in which we go from the joy of waving palms as Jesus enters Jerusalem, to the sorrow of the passion.
