Indian-American conductor Joshua Anand Slater is a freelance musician based in New York. He can be found conducting, playing organ and piano, or singing with ensembles including The Choir of the Church of St. Ignatius of Antioch, where he is Artist-in-Residence. He consults for churches on a variety of organ and outreach projects, and for arts organizations on marketing and operations. He is Artistic Director of fujit productions, which is committed to promoting underrepresented and silenced voices, and Music Director of The Shrewsbury Chorale. Mr. Slater holds the Mus. M in conducting and B. A. in music with distinction in historical performance from Boston University, and Colleague certification from the American Guild of Organists.
